What are microgreens?

Microgreens are plants that are harvested between 1-2 weeks after germination. The result is a smaller green with a more intense flavor and more highly concentrated nutrition profile when compared with a fully matured green. All the same vitamins and minerals found in the matured green are found here.

A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry highlights that microgreens contain 4 - 40 times more nutrients by weight than their matured counterpart.
